An 88 years old man suddenly fell down and became unconscious with paralysis of the right side of the body brought in the Medical emergency.His BP was 280/160mmHg. Intubation was done and suddenly he has the cardiac arrest. BP was unrecordable. Dopamine, adrenaline was given with external cardiac massage. After 30 minutes of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), BP raised to 40 mm Hg, ECG showed from the straight line to little v shaped wave.

Attending doctor told family members of little hope of survival and said if they desire patient can be put on ventilator. Family members were reluctant for putting patient on ventilator. What is rational approach for further management? Kindly advise.
