Colorectal cancers (CRCs) are the third most commonly diagnosed malignancy and the second most common cause of malignancy-related mortality in western countries. It is known to affect both genders equally. The increase in the incidence rate has been attributed to modern dietary habits, an aging population, smoking habits, and sedentary lifestyle that accounts for obesity.
