Management of neurological procedures in pediatric patients is challenging because of the developing and maturing neurological and physiological status. In this context, the article discusses the management of pediatric patients pre-, intra-, and post-neurological procedures. Recent advances in the neurosurgery, neuromonitoring and neuro-intensive care have significantly improved the outcomes in patients affected by surgical lesions of CNS. Whereas most of these techniques have been applied in the adult population and later translated for the pediatric patients.
