Sepsis is a life-threatening condition with a high rate of mortality and morbidity and has become a significant global burden, especially in low- and middle-income countries. The most frequent organisms in patients with sepsis include  Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter, and Pseudomonas spp . If not diagnosed early or left untreated, it may lead to organ dysfunction and septic shock. The management and prevention of sepsis need a multidisciplinary approach, including good hygiene practices in the community and health care settings, vaccinations, improved sanitation, and timely diagnosis and treatment.
