Management of Tetralogy of Fallot involves complex surgical procedures with concomitant supportive measures. Though no specific guidelines exist, intracardiac repair surgery is the best-preferred approach. Tetralogy of Fallot is the commonest congenital cyanotic heart disease. It was also the first cyanotic heart disease to be successfully treated with surgical repair. Indian studies reveal the same and reported incidence varies from 4% to 10%. The underlying defect is the malalignment of the interventricular septum resulting in the characteristic tetralogy comprised by Ventricular septal defect.
