The Medical Council of India (MCI), the apex regulator of allopathic doctors in the country has ordered the suspension of 8 medical practitioners for their alleged involvement in an unethical drug trial on patients that had stormed the country 7 years ago. About 8 doctors at the state-run Medical College have been suspended by Medical Council of India (MCI) for their involvement in unethical drug trial.

The Ethical Committee of MCI has issued the suspension orders including the superintendent and former superintendent for a period of three months. Source: News 18
