Medical Council of India has warned MBBS aspiring students and their guardians of India or NRIs not to take admission in any medical College which is not recognised by MCI. List of medical colleges recognised by MCI is on its website. MCI further states that 69 colleges out of many medical colleges which were previously recognised are ineligible this time to take admission in colleges for session 17-18 and 18-19. Many colleges have been given permission but not allowed to take admission in this session.
List of recognised status and number of seats recognised has been displayed on MCI website with prominent underlying, students must check it.
