When we look in our past and see how we were taught obviously the teaching of any subject whether medical or non-medical was on blackboard and chalk The teacher had to prepare by reading various books come prepared and deliver the topic there were many reference books which were available in the library and in clinical medicine. We had only x ray no ultrasound or CT or MRI however, the clinician had to do more of clinical examination to reach diagnosis. Use of stethoscope was very important in order to listen a murmur in a cardiac case and listen to a wheeze in a chest case.
