Menorrhagia or heavy menstrual bleeding results in a reduced quality of life and significant socioeconomic burden to affected women worldwide. So far, multiple treatment options exist that offer different potential for symptom control at highly variable initial cost. However, the relative value of these treatment options is unknown.
