Case presentation A 52-year-old female reported to the dermatology department with a complaint of itchy skin lesions all over the body (Cover image). The lesions were present for the past three months. Medical history The patient had poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus for the past ten years and was under oral antidiabetic medications for the same. Clinical examination Multiple, hyperkeratotic, and hyperpigmented papules with central keratotic plugs were present over the neck, trunk (cover image), abdomen, gluteal region, and lower limbs.
Few lesions showed koebnerisation. Laboratory investigations HbA1C:Β 11.4% (poorly controlled diabetes) Fasting glucose level: 278 mg/dL Thyroid, liver, and renal functions were normal.
