Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disease. MG is caused by a defect in the way nerves transmit signals to muscles. Firstly symptoms are reviewed and diagnosis and treatment is started. MG targets the communication point between the nerve and muscle (called the neuromuscular junction).
