Dear  Colleagues,                Greetings! Need opinion from Neonatal Cardiologists & Paediatricians for Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension in a 3 week old new born. I am a Retired Professor of Psychiatry practicing at Thanjavur, Tamilnadu.

I wish to gather some guidelines about a personal, tricky clinical condition from experienced Neonatal Cardiologists. A male child was born nearly 40 days before the EDD on 21.1.2016 and the baby is at Neonatal intensive care unit of a Nursing home. Today (12.02.16) is the 22nd day of life and the baby is maintained comfortably with half a litre of oxygen per minute supplied through a nasal tube and maintains 100% oxygen saturation & the heart rate is around 150 per minute & the respiratory rate is less than 60 per minute with very minimal ‘in drawing’…
