Haryana government has declared a new policy for admission to medical and dental colleges in the state for the academic session 2018-19. According to the policy candidates taking admission to MBBS/BDS and the post graduate courses will have to sign a bond, declaring that they would not leave the course in between after the admission. In the recent past, the medical institutes have been struggling with the vacant seats as the students have left the course in between in order to pursue in other states or by taking admissions abroad. There are five recognised government colleges, one government-aided and five private medical colleges.
