NHRC ordered FIR to be registered against a Local Hospital at Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh for Infection in eyes of 9 out of 10 patients operated through an eye camp in 2015 . Taking very serious note against doctors and management of Local Hospital where an AIIMS team found cause of Infection to be contamination in vial of injection used in eye surgery a FIR was registered at police station after DM was asked for it. Meanwhile doctors and management of Hospital have blamed Company manufacturing the injection as Culprit and maintained that they had no role in Infection into eye.
