For about the last one and a half years, COVID-19 generated upheavals in every part of the country. Medical students, inevitably, had to bear the brunt of this. The NEET examinations were pushed, delaying the intake of postgraduate students. To get through the crisis, the NMC had to provide regular, and timely notifications about tests and exams to the medical students. Fortunately, COVID-19 has begun to show a downward trend.

In light of this, the following new advisories have been issued. The institutions/universities are instructed to conduct the examinations for the final year postgraduate broad specialty and super specialty as soon as possible, considering the local COVID condition.
