Researches at Aarhus University in Denmark have developed a novel inhaler which will help migraine patients to cut down or completely stop the migraine medications. The team tested the inhaler on a small group of patients who suffered from migraine with aura. The inhaler works on a mechanism by modifying molecules of the body. It utilizes carbon dioxide and oxygen for mobilizing its own defense against migraine attacks.

It further acts by expanding blood vessels that supply oxygen to the brain thereby stops the destructive chain reaction. The study results showed that the effect of pain relief increased significantly with each use. Source: Business Standard
