Due to the shortage of MBBS seats in the country, aspirants take admission in medical colleges in China, Russia, Nepal, Mauritius, Central America, and the Philippines. The admission process in these countries is not that competitive. In the last decade, the number of candidates going for pursuing MBBS outside India has increased exponentially.
