One country, one examination, now for MBBS entrance e single NEET will be conducted Ted from 2020. NEET 2020 will replace AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER entrance too. Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan has confirmed that under the National Medical Commission or NMC Act, there would be only one medical entrance test in the country.
In effect, NEET 2020 or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses would be the only medical entrance examination for all candidates who wish to apply for MBBS or BDS Courses in the country. The announcement confirms that AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS admissions would also be brought under NEET.
