Chronic headache is one of the commonest problem through out the world .5to 10 percent of population are headache patients, many headache patients feel that they are having migraine headache and no proper treatment is not available and many doctors are not referring the patients for ophthalmic examination even though 20 t0 30 percent of headache patients are suffering from ophthalmic disorders,these patients need thorough comprehensive total ophthalmic examination like refractive error, intraocular pressure test, digital fundus photography to rule out glaucoma and other so many retinal and circulatory problems etc, and if these ophthalmic problems are corrected the headache will be cured or controlled, so i suggest to all doctors to give this advise of ophthalmic examination to all chronic headache patients.
