One of my patient 30 year male underwent a dental implantation along with bone grafting. What are the chances of him being getting oral cancer due to stress on gum and oral mucosa due to dental implantation and bone grafting? what are the preventive measures in case under risk like quality of implant or bone grafting material?
Sir this patient used dentures for 5 years and mucosa is thin at the place of implant now and also use of bone graft and thin mucosal or artificial layers of mucosa or anything used in implants procedure can cause oral cancer ????? Patient is undergoing implants after stabilisation of bone so do you suggest any risks in undergoing dental implantation?
