Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) are one of the main cause of cancer-related deaths, mainly due to the lack of therapeutic options. Thus, research on early detection with suitable diagnostic procedures, further broadening operation techniques, and determining whether chemotherapy or radiation therapy is the most effective perioperative treatment is needed for treatment of PDAC . Only 15%-25% of patients founds eligible with resectable disease at primary diagnosis but, an important role exists for chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy in the treatment of patients with resectable disease.
