The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely disrupted the health services such as rehabilitation. At the same time, it has increased the need for rehabilitation for patients suffering from the disease and those still dealing with its long-term effects. Policy documents on rehabilitation following COVID-19 have been released; however, with minimal evaluative research done, the findings are limited and incomplete.
This article demonstrates how rehabilitation can help provide interventions that are backed by the current evidence.
