Scientists have developed a novel model known as the PREDICT Breast model, which may reduce the need for chemotherapy in up to 38% of breast cancer patients who would have previously been advised to undergo the treatment. The latest version of this model incorporates recent breast cancer survival data and evaluates the benefits and harms of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. PREDICT Breast model was first launched in 2010 and then continuously updated.

It is currently used worldwide by over 40,000 clinicians and patients each month to estimate long-term survival and the benefits of various therapies.
