Magnesium sulfate infusion. Answer. Magnesium sulfate infusion. Phenytoin and diazepam have no role in the treatment of eclampsia. Treatment is definitely magnesium sulfate. Initial dose 4 gm over ten minutes. Followed by infusion of magnesium sulfate at one gram per hour. If there are seizures again, magnesium sulfate bolus of 2 grams.
