I am young doctor just started a hospital rural part of Bihar. Starting a hospital always is difficult & that too in rural part becomes even more challenging. My aim is to provide quality healthcare in rural part at affordable price, so that poor can afford. But the difficulty what I found in this part is uneducated patient being under clout of quacks & there brokers coming into healthcare system which is quiet unethical & poor patient inspite of spending so much are given below par treatment.These quacks calls themselves doctors.
Its a sorry state of affair as we know only 2-3% doctors serving 70% population. I know everyone wants a quality life so doctors prefer urban location for proper education of their children & all facilities of urban lifestyles. But I urge 2-3 years of initial practice as specialist in rural part & those doctors who has achieved most of things to give last 7-8…
