PVD in DM can be dealt with by three methodologies. Here ,first is medical management and is being briefed. For effective medical management, the Doppler studies help to decide about the possible improvement and success rate.
If the Doppler shows minimal or moderate atherosclerotic deposits with the flow in all the arteries especially Dorsalis pedis arteries are triphasic in nature ,then the treatment will be more effective.
