Traumatic brain injury (TBI) affected 369 individuals per 100,000 worldwide in 2019 alone. The primary injury of TBI, caused by the mechanical force of trauma, cannot be repaired. TBI is primarily identified through monitoring intracranial pressure, clinical examination, and imaging tests. Due to limited treatment options and guidelines, the management of TBI is challenging.
