Amruta’s Struggle : This decision was prompted after an orphan girl Amruta Karvande was denied job despite passing the Maharashtra State Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination . Amruta, who grew up in an orphanage in Goa, appeared for MPSC exam in 2017 and scoring 39/100.
