A 63 yr. old male suffered stroke 10 yrs. ago.(l) hemiplegia & two fits after 6 months &1yr. Now his hypertension is controlled. He can walk about 1km. independently. Recovery in upper limb is very slow. Shoulder & elbow joint are grade 4.

Wrist is grade 3. Finger extension is grade 2-3. There is no stiffness in any joint. On regular physiotherapy, what are chances of further recovery? It is 9 yrs. since last fit. Can I stop phenytoin? Kindly give detailed advice.
