Doctors Cry Foul, Seek Relaxation In DC Rules The civic body's health department has filed criminal cases against 60 nursing homes in the city for allegedly functioning without the mandatory licence. The crackdown has caused much anxiety to the city's medical fraternity because most nursing homes that operate from residential premises do not possess the licence to function as made mandatory by the development control (DC) rules. Earlier, these nursing homes were asked to comply with the norms or face legal action.
