Case presentation: 39-year-old male patient with painless and recurring swelling of the right side of his upper lip was presented at a dental clinic (figure 1). During the extra-oral examination, swelling of the right side of the upper lip, cheilitis, and asymmetry was observed. During the intraoral examination, it was observed that he had a fissural tongue (figure 2). No other symptoms were seen. History: His history revealed that he had suffered from facial paralysis on the left side of his face many years ago.
