Lately, I've been getting a number of patients with long-standing fungus especially T. cruris or T. capitis .

Generally have been treated somewhere with Fluconazole or other drugs plus topical cream. Are we seeing a drug resistance in fungal infections? Is there any rationale in treating with a combination of drugs eg Tab Itraconazole 200 mg once a day for 7 days along with Fluconazole 150 mg once in 3 to 7 days?
