There has been a lot of brouhaha after report that in India there is rampant prevalence of the practice of referral commission amongst physicians advising investigations, hospitalization or specialist consultations referral. The problems in India are 1. Lack of adequate health care facilities by the government 2. Lack of health insurance 3. Lack of affordability of medical care (population is looking for value for money because of the above 2 reasons ) 4.
