A pan-European organization called European League Against Rheumatism has conducted a study on the use of anti-rheumatoid medications during pregnancy and lactation. The outcome of their study was published in Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, An international peer-reviewed journal from BMJ group. For this purpose, they performed a meta-analysis study, based on a systematic literature review and pregnancy exposure data from several registries. They further generated statements on the compatibility of antirheumatic drugs during pregnancy and lactation were developed based on their analysis.
