Retina surgeries/ procedures - are not available in any government teaching hospitals. MBBS students are never shown retina surgeries/procedures in their Ophthalmology period. MS Ophthalmology students are not taught retina procedures. They don't even see these procedures in post graduation in government hospitals.
DNB students at some Institutions, have exposure to retina procedures. Patients with retina problems are also suffering because of lack of facilities in government hospitals all over India. The government should start retina department at all government hospitals and provide quality treatment to people. Share your opinion.
