When the report of ECG and X-Ray chest and clinical examination points to a possible lesion most probably congenital in nature and the echo is reported as normal, there is always a way out and it was tried in four cases by me and I am able to detect rare cardiac related diseases. Patient aged 37 years, a male was suspected as a case of adult PDA for a long time with so many Echos without the definite decision. The echo was doubtful including TEE.

But clinical examination, ECG and X-ray chest were definite about a cardiac lesion and it was decided to try the newer modality of CT angiography of the heart and clinched the diagnosis of adult PDA.
