Interventional pulmonologists focus on invasive diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for airway and pleural disorders. Furthermore, they play a prominent role in managing patients with respiratory failures in intensive care units. Thus, understanding their role in detail and how it changes from OPD to ICU is crucial.
