Greetings, I just wanted to know what could be the possible line of treatment for a 9 year old child with complete loss of crown structure in lower left first permanent molar. Neither his 3 5 has erupted nor his 3 7. There is total loss of the crown w.r.t 3 6. I completed a Root Canal Therapy with the same tooth and have placed a GIC restoration with an underlying ZOE temporary restoration.
Gingival tissue interference makes me further delay the treatment even if I need to do a Post and Core build up and then give a crown on the said tooth. Kindly opine. Thanks.
