I am placing one X-ray of chest, pt don't know what happened in the chest. This pt came to me for pain abdomen, looking at his physique, I ordered all test including chest X-ray. To my surprise, his whole mediastinum with cardia is shifted to Lt side. He has depressed Lt upper chest. (He turned out to be a pt of ureteric stone and relieved) Now the question is why structures of sup mediastinum are not disturbed function wise, no problem to great vessels, vagus, phrenic n and others?
We find many X-ray of such kind without any problems to pt. But if we do something over chest by putting needle for aspirations or local inj. or any minor handling, with minor negligence, havoc disaster happens, rush to ICU, CPR. But here pt moving with disarranged great structures, nothing happens . Now God is great or the pt is great?
