In a previous incident that was discussed a few days before on this platform titled “ Doctors To Pay Penalty For Death during Strike, Will They Be Paid Bonus For Saving Lives ”, I would like to discuss a similar incident that took place in Raipur recently. The state of Chattisgarh was going through difficult times for the past six days due to the indefinite strike by 108 ambulance drivers and staff members across the state, thus devoiding the people of basic ambulance services and eventually putting some lives at risk. All of this ruckus and hubbub ultimately claimed 2 lives in Raipur, as they met a road accident on the Raipur-Bilaspur highway and failed to get timely treatment due to the ongoing strike.
