A 45 years old male had pain in lower abdomen for seven days with constipation. On examination he had tenderness and rigidity above abdomen. X'ray of abdomen showed free gas under diaphragm. Provisional diagnosis was peptic perforation. On laparotomy there was one cm.
Size perforation in distal sigmoid about eight to ten cm. above peritoneal reflection. It was debrided; lumen was checked inside; biopsy was taken and closed in two layers. Kindly give suggestions.
