This publication synopsis focuses on the significance of biomarkers in traumatic brain injury. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is typically classified as being mild, moderate, or severe. Diagnosis is more hard in the case of mild TBI and there is no consistent literature about the diagnosis of mild TBI. Concussion injury is a specific form of mild TBI. It is a complex pathophysiological process affecting the brain, evoked by the biomechanical forces.
