Before the current pandemic, the society and unfortunately major stakeholders and policymakers have just forgotten or overlook the importance of primary care in the country. We family physicians firmly believe that primary care or family physicians are the backbone and most important pillar of any healthcare system, anywhere in the world, but all miserably failed to accept it and have moved forward and this fast life and unfortunately paying price for it.
