The increase in the number and complexity of eligibility criteria for different clinical trials has further complicated the process of recruitment. To improve the uniformity of this process and facilitate the inclusion of a diverse population, the USFDA and the National Cancer Institute collaborated with a renowned nonprofit organization to release a set of guidelines.
