A large number of clinicians support the view that varieties of common chemical substances affect the neurological development in children. The review published in renowned medical journal ‘The Lancet’ has supported this view and has come up with additional six neurotoxicants. The world health data suggests that in the last few decades neurodevelopmental disabilities such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other cognitive impairments have risen. The studies have also found that subclinical decrements are more prevalent amongst these neurodevelopmental disorders.
