A 5-year-old boy developed a change of his voice that was followed by stridor. The stridor was severe enough to necessitate a tracheostomy. 2 years later the tracheostomy site was not fit for respiration, another tracheostomy was done at a lower level. A reddish tissue that was polypoid in nature filled the tracheostomes.
The child died a year later when his tracheostomy tube became obstructed at home. What is the probable diagnosis in this case? *This patient case is from Docplexus Editorial Team for educative purpose only. Source: 100 Cases in ENT
