Under care of District collector, IAS, Chittor AP, a workshop was conducted on SR PPH suction cannula at Chittor Government general Hospital on 25, and 26th of July 2018. 180 medical officers from all PHCs, CHCs, area hospitals, and Medical college Hospitals attended. They were made in to two batches, live demo and hands on training was given. SR Cannulas were provided to all institutions. Within next 4 days, 2 maternal deaths occurred due to PPH. Collector took the issue seriously.
By August first week all the materials, SR Cannulas, suction tubes, and suction machines were made ready and started functioning. From 1st August to September 30th 60 days completed. I would like to share the report by doctor DCHS with all of you.
