According to a study published by the Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health, grocery shopping or eating out has a higher risk of getting infected by COVID-19 than flying on an aircraft. However, there are certain conditions for flyers like mandatorily wearing face masks. Additionally, proper maintenance and functioning of the AC/filtration systems, timely disinfection of cabin surfaces, and proper ventilation are also important.
