Dear Doctors,  As a family doctor, the parents of my patient (10y.o Male) brought him to my residence in an emergency complaining about sudden loss of eyesight after cracker exploded just a few feet away from him. As primary aid the parents took care of washing patients eye with cold water but didnt help. No burn marks, No redness in eyes, Visibility Zero in both the eyes, unresponsive to light.

I have sent the patient to an ophthalmologist in an emergency, but as a family doctor of the patient I would like to know about the reasons for sudden loss of vision in my patient.
