Case A 62-year-old man presented with sudden onset of acute quadriplegia and fever. Diagnostics MR imaging was performed. Sagittal T2-weighted indicated an epidural fluid collection around C4/5 disc space as indicated in the first image. The cervical cord looked displaced posteriorly and also cord compression was observed, however, with no significant signal alterations. The second image indicates a fluid collection in a left paracentral region.
Contrast enhanced images The sagittal T1-weighted post contrast image indicated fluid collection. However, abnormality in front of the cervical spine did not show any fluid collection.
